Locations: Cork, Republic of Ireland
Course Details
Staging English Language Learning is a hands-on and very practical communicative method for English language teaching built on a foundation of QIT (quizzes in tandem) poetry, drama and intercultural awareness. It has been developed over a 3-year period and has been tested and positively evaluated in Ireland. It encourages students to actively participate in the design and content of their language lessons. The methodology we use in the delivery of this course is a hands-on and very practical approach.
Your learning environment will be a multimedia suite with hands-on access to over 20 PCs. By the end of the course all participants will be able to design classroom material using computer software packages, the internet and other I.T. resources. Teachers will also feel more confident with using I.T. in the classroom.
All participants are expected to have basic computer knowledge before registering for the course, i.e. knowledge of basic word processing is essential; and a minimum English level of B2 (CEF).
