Vacation Courses for Teenagers (age 13 to 16)

available from June to August, 2017

This summer course, run on the campus of the University of Chester and Queen's School, is only for individual teenager and mini groups.  Students have the opportunity to increas their confidence in English at the same time as they learn about the culture and customs of other nations.  They activate their language skills in a natural and communicative manner through activities and excursion that that encourage them to work together in English.

Special weekly features:

• 2 project-based afternoons

In summer, from the end of June to the middle of August, junior courses are held at the University of Chester, and Queen's School Chester, with full use of excellent campus facilities.

The course is not residential.  Students are accommodated in caring host families who are experienced in looking after teenagers who are away from their families.  The accommodation may be in shared or single rooms, and the families live either within walking distance of the school, or a short bus ride away.
